Mo Ribs BBQ – Canton, GA – Brad Nevin

Mo Ribs BBQ

Canton, GA

Recently, a group of friends drove from Atlanta to the Canton, GA area on a clear Sunday morning.  Our mission that day was golf at Lake Arrowhead, and we had a great time on the links.  On the way up as we approached a fork in the road, we noticed an old cabin at the split and low and behold…it was a BBQ joint!  On the way back we were famished, and I proposed that we stop for some Q.

This place has a ton of character with the old timey feel of a mountain home, and the inside is no different.  A handful of tables provide patrons a place to sit and eat, and the Owners have it decorated with a comfortable, rustic feel.  I had the pork sandwich with broccoli, cheese and rice casserole and baked beans…it was outstanding.  The sides were piping hot, and the sandwich came on a sesame seed bun with a healthy portion of their thick, tomato-based sauce on it…I literally inhaled it.  My buds had pork sammys as well with fries, slaw and beans.  Everyone truly enjoyed their meal, and I believe we would all go back if in the area again.  The staff is very nice and aim to please, and I would recommend Mo Ribs to any BBQ lover.  Check it out!

I just went there today and googled the name of the place to see if anyone else was as happy as I was. I am a big BBQ critic and this one passed my test. Outstanding.

Make a trip to Canton, you won’t be disappointed.
