I see your post is about a year old. Have you been back to Memphis?
The picture that you posted looks like one on Summer Ave, close to Highland St. Of Course, there could be others locations that look the same. I've found that Summer Ave location isn't as good as it used to be. Next time go a little further east on Summer Ave and try that one.
I live in Texas. What I wouldn't give for some good ole Tops BBQ!!!!!! Wish they delivered.

Ha, I hadn't even heard that BK had BBQ ribs. Kudos to you for actually having the guts to try them. I take a bit of a liking for McD's Ribwich. However, it pretends to be nothing other than processed mystery meat poured into a rib-inspired mold.

I watch Dinners-Drive Ins and Dives. So when Guy did his BBQ shows, I took interests in DDD.. Seeing how I have had BBQ at places from outside Ft Hood, TX, to Ft Rucker Al, across the USA, to the many places in Cincinnati, I perked up when I saw The Shed.

My son is a Navy Seabee at the NMCB Base in Gulfport, Ms. In 2008 I cashed in some flight miles and spent a few days with him. Yes the first place I wanted to visit- if visit is the right word- was The Shed. We went on a Friday night. So had to park at the Shell station and walk across to The Shed. Yes we had to wait in line about 45 minutes. Once inside we had the choice of the two lines. I went with the Full Rack Plate, my son took the Jumbo Sampler.

It was all that DDD and Guy said the place was. I loved the whole strange feel The Shed oozes. It was the kind of place I Knew I would find GREAT BBQ. The employees all were down to earth, the crowd was a laid back fun crowd. Then my son and I found a place to sit. Outside under the stars. WELL it was not long before we heard \a wait staff person yelling SUPERMAN Order For Superman. Yeah my son had put down the Superman Name. So we got the food and I was in Heaven.

It was all the show said and more. I flew back down in in June of this year., 2010. I was at the Shed that same night. I even bought a Great Rack t Shirt for my wife. Both visits 08 and 10..

I can only find one place in Cincinnati that comes close to What The Shed makes. Walt's BBQ on Colerain Ave, in Cincy. NO Not Montgomery Inn. Ribs suck, with the sauce being what brings the people in. I want RIBS, Not Sauce. So The Shed is the place I will want to hit when I am in that part of Mississippi. Had I the money, I would open a SHED in my part of Cincy.
